I'm a huge salmon fan, hello from Seattle, so I wanted to mix things up and try something new when I made some this weekend. And this did not disappoint.
Plus, it was sooo simple!
Ingredients:
- Salmon
- lemon juice or lemons
- ground pepper
- garlic powder
- 1/3 C soy sauce
- 1/3 C brown sugar
- 1/3 C water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
1. Season the salmon to your preference with lemons/lemon juice, pepper & garlic powder.
2. In a small bowl mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, water & olive oil until the the sugar dissolves.
3. Pour the marinade over the salmon insider either a tupperware or plastic resealable bag, and turn to coat.
4. Marinate in the fridge for at least 90 minutes. The longer you marinate the deeper the flavor!
5. Bake on a foil lined pan in preheated oven at 450 degrees for 12 minutes. Then broil for the last 5 minutes until it flakes easily.
And you're done! Devour!!! It's sooo good!
